In 2004 I decided to follow Jesus and I started to experience God’s guidance in my life and God gave me this mission to start a church that will fulfill the purpose of the Philadelphia Church in the book of Revelation chapter 3.
And that church will have some characteristics and today I’d like to explain about the vision of the Philadelphia Church and first,
one of the characteristics of that church will be that this church will be a cell church.
These days there are a lot of mega churches because when their members grow, the church stays as one Church in one place so it becomes bigger and bigger and becomes a mega church. But this
church that I will be working with will be a cell church.
Just like the cell is divided to become two cells and keeps on dividing itself, this church will be a church that values the division of itself to spread to nearby areas and ultimately to all over the world.
So it will not value for growing itself to be a mega church but it will be a cell church that will keep dividing itself to
become many churches in the world.
And the second one is, it will be a layman ministry. Nowadays only those who studied in the seminaries for many years, they
become pastors and only the pastors lead the churches but in this endtime that kind of system might have its limits so this church will be a layman ministry. All the layman Christians who
are not pastors, they will be the leaders of the cell churches
and do the works of God.
And it will be a church that doesn’t pay the wages to the leaders. All the cell church leaders will not be paid and all the workers will not be paid by the church.
So those are the three characteristics of this church and later on I believe that God will plan all these churches in the world and he will gather all the saints from all over the world to Canada. So I will explain about that later again.
Cell Church
So those are the characteristics of this church and I think God helped me develop that vision when I was attending the Light Korean Presbyterian Church. And in the church the cell system was in place and there were a lot of cell gatherings that are part of the church and it was one of the characteristics of the church.
But what I observed was that those cell gatherings, they were still part of the big church, the light Korean Church, so I thought if the cell gatherings can be an independent Church then the effect of proliferating to nearby areas will be much greater.
So this church that I’ll be working with will be a cell church
that will keep on dividing itself and when the people from nearby areas join a cell church and that number increases that group of people can start their own church in their own area – that way the churches can spread into the nearby
areas.
That’s the vision God planted in me and when I was in the Light Korean church, I observed that all the laymen leaders of the cell gatherings, they do incredible jobs. So they are not pastors but they still lead the cell gatherings, so this will be
a church that will be ministered by the laymen ministers.
And when the cell church grows, it will be separated and
become an independent Church that will be independent financially and also have a separate leader.
Layman Church
And if you think about it, in the beginning of Christianity, all
the ministers, they were not pastors – even the Apostles, they didn’t study in the colleges or university so the Pharisees thought that when Peter spoke boldly before them they were like shocked because Peter who is supposedly not educated, was speaking very boldly and efficiently so they were really
shocked to hear Peter speak.
And also these days the criteria to become God’s servants has become that if you study in the seminary academically and get a
certificate then you can become a pastor. But that should not be the criteria to become true God’s servants. What’s more important is, are you really God’s servants? Have you really decided to deny yourself to follow Jesus? And if someone did that then he is entitled by God to serve God and whoever decided to follow Jesus, he can work for Jesus. So that will be the criteria for serving in this church. So this church will be a cell church that will be ministered by laymen ministers.
Volunteer Ministry
And also, all the ministers for this church will be volunteers because these days pastors get paid by the church. So when they get paid it’s tied to their livelihood so they have the risk to preach only the messages that are popular and that are liked by the congregation. Because if the congregation diminishes and people leave then the pastor loses his job. So he starts proclaiming messages that are popular and well liked by the congregation so the gospel of Jesus is watered down to become an easy gospel. So it’s critical that this church will be filled with true followers of Jesus so the gospel must stay true. So all the ministers for this church will be volunteers and all the workers for this church will be volunteers.
So those are the three characteristics of this church that God has given me.
God will gather saints to Canada
And when all these churches are planted in the world and when the time comes I believe that God will gather all the Saints from all over the world to Canada. Because if you look at the map there is no other country like Canada in the world. So if you look at all the other countries they are part of this main continent so all those countries that are located inland inside of this continent they are very limited to evacuate to anywhere.
But if you look at Canada it’s not just a big one continent. This Canada if you look at it, I can’t tell you exactly where but Canada is divided by many small lands so Canada is very unique. There is no other place like Canada in the world. So I
believe there is a reason why he planted me in Canada even before I decided to follow Jesus long time ago.
So I believe that all the Saints will be gathered by God to Canada when the time comes. So right now I believe that God wants to start this church that will spread to all over the world to gather in all the saints because God promised to the Church of Philadelphia that God will keep the Philadelphia Church from the times of the Great Tribulation. So I believe he wants to plant all the cell churches in the world and if you really want to follow Jesus in this end time and serve God for the purpose of the Philadelphia Church, then if you really deny yourself and follow Jesus, then you can work with this church to fulfill its purpose in this end time.
Start a Bible Study Group and a Cell Church
So I left my email address on the YouTube channel page and what I plan to do is if anybody wants to follow Jesus and start a cell church, then they can contact me through email and then I can put their contact information on the truth in the last days website so that whoever wants to study more and know more about the message they can join the Bible study and study more about the purpose of the Philadelphia Church, and when they decide to work with us then they can join the church. So a lot of you who are watching this video might feel that because you didn’t study in the seminary and don’t know about the Bible that much but if you decide to deny yourself and follow Jesus God will guide you and teach everything you need
to do and also I will help you with all the teachings God gave me so that you can be the leaders of all the Bible studies and the church. So all God needs is your decision to follow Jesus.
I wish you blessings so that you can really follow Jesus in this end time and if you think about it this is the best job in the end time to follow Jesus before the Great Tribulation comes so you don’t even have to go through the Great Tribulation and wait for Jesus alive. So many Christians will be tortured and be put to death in the great jubilation so they can’t see the return of
Jesus but this church, God will remove it from the persecution of the Great Tribulation so all those Saints will be alive when Jesus comes so they will greet Jesus in the air alive in a rapture. So this is really the best ministry to work for God in this end time. So if you read the book of Revelation the Philadelphia Church is the best church so I wish you blessing so that you can really follow Jesus in this end time and fulfill the purpose of this Philadelphia Church and help many people including your family to be kept safe from the Great Tribulation and wait for Jesus alive.
