Nowadays the Corona virus is the big issue in the world and in China and I’m from South Korea, and people are getting very worried about this virus in South Korea. And in Canada the number of confirmed cases are increasing.
So a lot of people including Christians are getting worried about this virus.
So why are we Christians getting worried about this virus? Isn’t it because the Christians are afraid death?
But what I’d like to tell you is that all these things are prophesied in the Bible and in the previous video about the 4th seal in the book of revelation, I explained about this but in the verse about the 4th seal in the Book of Revelation, it talks about pestilence.
So I told you in that video that right now the 4th seal is open and now we’re living the era of the 4th seal of the Book of Revelation.
So this is the Book of Revelation 6:8, “and I looked and behold a pale horse and its rider’s name was death and hades followed him and they were given authority over a fourth of the earth to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.”
So recently there have been a lot of viruses going around including SARS and now the Corona virus but actually this is nothing like the great pestilence of Black Death in Europe in the middle ages. At that time, one third of the European people were killed.
So all these things might increase as we get closer to the end time because when you’re talking about pestilence, it’s like a pandemic. It’s a virus infection in a grand scale, some thing like the Black Death that caused so many deaths in Europe in the past.
So why is God sending this pestilence on the earth as we get closer to the end time?
When I was thinking about this, I believe this is what God gave in my heart. It’s because these things might increase as we get closer to the end because when death is near us we get afraid and people tend to look for God instead of thinking about this world and think about death and what will come after that.
So God is sending all these plagues in the end time so that people might get afraid so that they will think about their faith and not just concentrate on this earth. And maybe God wants as many as possible to repent and look for God in this end time.
So whenever you see Christians who are given a set time to live by the doctors, they tend to think about God more and they don’t even care about this world anymore.
So I believe that’s the reason why God is allowing all these pestilence and plagues to happen in the world in the end time.
So right now it might be just the beginning and we’ve been living in this world in prosperity and safety from the war but that might change and this world will see a lot more pestilence and wars and it will culminate in the Great Tribulation.
So what we should do about it? And what God wants us to do?
I believe that only way to be safe in the end time when there will be so many death and wars and pestilence, I think the only place that we can be safe is in Jesus.
Being in Jesus doesn’t just mean praying hard and reading bible. Being in Jesus means accepting Jesus in you. That means denying yourself and let him be in the center of you. So only when you let him be in you, then you will be in him.
So when you deny yourself to follow Jesus and let him be in the center of you, Jesus will be in you and the Holy Spirit will be in you. And He will testify your salvation by letting you know his presence in you.
So when that happens you’ll be born again and you will know for sure that you’re saved because the Holy Spirit in you testifies to you that you’re saved.
So you know that you’re saved because your soul will be safe no matter what happens.
So that’s how you can be in Jesus and in safety. So that’s the only place you can be safe in this end time.
So Jesus said don’t be afraid of those who can harm your body but can do nothing about your soul, but be afraid of God who can throw your soul into hell.
So only when you’re soul is safe then you’re really safe in the face of even death. So I believe that’s the only way to be safe – in Jesus in this end time.
So right now a lot of people are afraid of this virus including Christians. Then why are they so afraid of this virus? Because they are afraid of death. Maybe they want to live much longer in this world.
I see a lot of Christians, they want to live in this world as long as possible and they are so obsessed with extending this life in this world and obsessed with a lot of information about being healthy. Isn’t it because they love this world so much so that they would rather live in this world as long as they possibly can, rather than to be with the Lord.
And why are they so much in love with this world? Because they enjoy the ungodly entertainments and all the temptations.
But what I find is that ever since I was born again and I decided to live for Jesus, for me all the days I live in this world, they are just to work for God. I’m here only to work for God.
And Jesus said the way to follow him is the narrow way. Why is it a narrow way? Because when you decide to follow Jesus you no longer live for you and for this world but only for Jesus and his kingdom and when you do that the persecution will follow. And whenever you wanna work for God and talk to other people then persecution will come.
So what I feel is that to be honest with you I have no desire to extend this life because I know that in this world I only exist to work for Jesus and I have to endure all the temptations.
And I feel that it’ll be so much better to live with the Lord in his kingdom then in this world.
So Apostle Paul said it’d be better to leave this world because when he was on this earth, he didn’t live for himself. He poured out his life to serve other people and Jesus. And he went through so much persecution. So it’s no wonder that the Apostle Paul felt it’d be better for him to leave this world than to continue to live.
So I bless you so that you don’t cling to this world and all the ungodly pleasures but decide to live for God and follow Jesus and be in the safety to be in Jesus so that no matter what happens in this world, you know that you will be safe in Jesus. I think that’s the only place in this world in this end time to be in the safety of Jesus.
