Today I wanted to talk about how you can really fear the Lord.
It says here, “The fear the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of the holy one is understanding”
So it says, fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom so it’s the most basic thing that we have to start from in respecting the Lord and serving him. But what’s happening these days is because most Christians believe that if you believe Jesus you are saved and because you believed that’s the sign of predestination of your salvation. So no matter what you do, God decided long time ago that you are saved so it’s up to God. So no matter what you do you are destined to be saved.
So Christians have no fear of God because it says here,
Luke 12:5 “but I will show you whom you should fear. Fear him who after he has killed, has power to cast into hell, yes I say to you, fear him.”
So why should we fear God? It’s because he can cast us into hell. That’s why we should fear him. But if you believe that no matter what you do you’re predestined to enter the kingdom of heaven then you have no fear of God because he’s no longer a God who can throw you into hell.
So that’s one of the reasons why many Christians, they’re living a sinful and blatant lives and even the ministers fall into temptation and they have become corrupted. It’s because the fear of the Lord is not in them.
So how can we really fear the Lord. I’ve been telling on this video channel that to be saved you have to be born again and to be born again you have to repent and believe Jesus and that repentance includes denying yourself to follow Jesus to not live for this world but to live for him obeying him. So that’s how you can be born again.
And also, I’ve been telling you that once you’re born again, then if you fall back from that salvation and be corrupted to sinful life then you cannot be renewed into being born again.
So you are born again only once in this life.
So that means even if you’re born again and saved you have to really watch you’re saying and what you do. Because depending on what you do, if you keep doing it and be corrupted again then the Holy Spirit in you can leave you and you will lose your salvation.
So in another video I talked about the messages in the book of Hebrew and once you’re born again and you are corrupted again then you cannot be renewed. And there will only await the consuming fire of hell.
So if you’re born again and know the truth that you cannot be renewed again once you fall back from being born again then you will really fear the Lord. Because you keep sinning and if you lose your salvation then there is no way going back. So you will really get to watch what you’re saying and then be very careful not to sin against the Lord because God is the Lord who can put you in hell because of your sinning.
So that’s how you can really fear the Lord. And that fear of the Lord will keep you holy for the rest of your life. So because you fear the Lord you watch what you’re saying and you are very careful of what you’re doing to not do evil against God and against other people. So that’s how you can be really fearful of the Lord.
So I wish everybody can realize this truth and start really fearing the Lord after being born again and continue to fear the Lord in reverence of God for the rest of our lives and keep ourselves holy and not fall back again.
