The reason why King Solomon was not saved.

There was a a mighty man of God in the Old Testament Bible. So he wrote three books out of 39 books in Old Testament, and God appeared to him twice in his lifetime and he personally spoke to him twice, and also he built none other than the Jerusalem Temple for God. So he was like a man of God who accomplished so many things for God.

But in the end I believe he was not saved because the Bible says, Solomon’s heart turned away from God in his last days. So he acquired so many foreign wives and then he built so many altars for Idols for his wives and the Bible doesn’t say after that; it doesn’t say King Solomon repented.

So in other places some other kings they were evil at first but some Kings they repented and it’s all recorded in the Old Testament Bible but for Solomon there’s no such record so it says King Solomon’s heart turned away from God and then it’s just ended.

So later on King Solomon almost became like King Saul. So just like King Saul who tried to kill David because his kingship was threatened, when God gave Jeroboam 10 tribes out of 12 tribes because King Solomon sinned, he tried to kill jeroboam just like King Saul.

So this is First Kings 11 verse 40, “Solomon therefore sought to kill Jeroboam but Jeroboam arose and fled to Egypt to Shishak king of Egypt and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.”

So jeroboam was chosen by God and then he was given by God the 10 tribes but King Solomon was going against it and tried to kill Jeroboam. So in spite of all the accomplishments for God and he was a very wealthy man and he had so much wisdom given by God but in the end his heart was turned away from God and I believe he was not saved at the end.

So why did that happen? So in this channel it’s been said many times that in the Old Testament times the truth about heaven and hell was concealed. And they didn’t believe that there is an everlasting life. So although God gave so much wisdom to King Solomon but just like other people in the Old Testament times God did not allow that knowledge about the Heaven and Hell to King Solomon.

So I believe that because King Solomon did not know about the Heaven and Hell and eternal life, King Solomon was very distressed and he felt very vain about this life because he believed that when he died he would just return to the soil and he will just decay and become nothing.

So that’s why I believe that because he thought that all he did was just meaningless he thought to himself that oh I would just enjoy this life. So what good is it if I keep righteous and then keep serving God but I would just return to the ground so rather than that I would just enjoy this life to the max. So he just kept going deeper into Indulgence, like he was not satisfied with just Israeli wives and he acquired so many foreign wives and then he just went looking for more pleasure. So I believe that’s the main reason why he became corrupted.

So we can see that when we read the book he wrote which is the Ecclesiastes. So what the Book of Ecclesiastes is about is that King Solomon just kept writing that everything is vain under the Sun. So like all the things that people carry out, they are all in vain, because he thought that all the people would just return to the ground when they die, so in his mind nothing is Meaningful other than just enjoying it while you live. So he wrote that enjoyment of food is the portion given to the mankind by God so just enjoy it. But he didn’t write about the other pleasures.

So until the end of that book he just kept writing everything is vain and then at the time he just said you have to serve God without any explanation. Just he kept writing oh everything is vain but he just said at the end you still have to serve god without any explanation, and that’s just the whole content of the book of Ecclesiastes.

So that goes to show show you why he thought that because he didn’t know about the Heaven and Hell and eternal life; I believe that’s the main reason why his heart turned away from serving God and then he just went after the pleasure.

But in the New Testament times God allowed that truth about eternal life, and when Jesus came he finally revealed about heaven and hell. So I think we are blessed and although we don’t have the wisdom King Solomon received from God but we know the knowledge about the eternal life.

So sometimes I think about what king Solomon would do if he had the knowledge about the eternal life; then would he have just kept going deeper and deeper into sin? I don’t believe so.

So in that sense I think we are so blessed because we have the knowledge about the eternal life which the King Solomon didn’t have so in the New Testament times we have the knowledge about the eternal life but something else was hidden for the people living in the New Testament times.

So although we are given the knowledge about the Heaven and Hell, through the design by Jesus people were led to believe that if you just believe you enter the kingdom of God. So, to enter the kingdom of God you have to be holy; that’s the main requirement and then you have to be an obedient servant of God and live according to Jesus’s word and live for him, and only those who do that will enter the kingdom. But that truth has has been hidden by the Bible. So because there are verses that say without all the works. like following Jesus, and being holy, cleaning your actions, without those works you enter the kingdom by the grace of God by just believing Jesus. And that’s in the Bible so because of the Bible, people in the New Testament times were led to believe that oh you just have to believe Jesus to be saved. So the truth that says you need holiness to enter the kingdom; that truth has been hidden in the New Testament times.

But in this end time that truth is being released so the handful of God’s Messengers are proclaiming that you must repent to be saved, not just believe, so that truth is being released. So if you believe that truth then you know all the truth to be able to make the right decision to enter the Kingdom.

So in this end time we are so blessed and we are blessed with so much knowledge about the eternal life and how to enter the kingdom but that knowledge alone is not enough. So you have to make yourself obey that knowledge and decide to follow Jesus and give your life to Jesus and live for him and make yourself holy. So we are so much more blessed than the King Solomon who had all the wealth in this world but he was kept away from that knowledge. So we are so much more blessed than King Solomon, so we just have to live out and act according to the truth. I wish you blessings from the Lord.
